FAQ

Q: How does coaching work?

A: Coaching in ECI has 2 stages to it – Exploration and Application.

Exploration happens through personal conversations with a coach, whose main aim is to work with the client to uncover personal barriers, ‘blind-spots’, frameworks and perspectives, attitudes and behaviors that don’t forward the client in their area of interest. This process ends when the client gets an insight into the truth of the situation – otherwise known as a realization or epiphany- that will shift their perspective into 1 that is empowering and forwarding.

Coaching is not complete without the application of the change/solution. This is where the coach will tag with the client to ensure that the client implements a new method/approach/solution/system/action that will open up new doors for the client.

For coaching to work, there  needs to be honesty – with self and with the coach – and a willingness to put in effort into the work required to make that change.


Q:What goes on in your workshop or programs?

A: Our programs are very conversational based. The program leader will introduce models on human mechanics, angles to consider and questions that lead into deeper discoveries and insights into what holds you back in your life, such that you can cause breakthroughs and new-found results. There will be discussions, hands-on projects and activities, on-the-spot coaching or mentoring.


Q: Is there anyone who’s attended and not benefited at all?

A: Yes, there is. These are the % of people who were forced to do the program against their own will, either by their parents, partners or companies. Hence, we put in as many measures as possible to ensure the individual makes a decision to participate to benefit for themselves and are ready to put in the necessary efforts to get their results.

These measures include pre-program coaching and homework, post program coaching, and direct interaction with the program manager and trainer.

Because of this commitment to our clients, we have a success* rate of almost 100% each year.

*success rate refers to the transformation/change/results that the participant gets by the end of their program.


Q: If I don’t get results, do I get a refund?

A: As long as you have chosen to do the program to benefit, and you do the work that is given in the program, it is almost guaranteed that you will evidence change and results.

Upon registration there will be a non-refundable deposit used immediately to reserve your seat. The % of refund will depend on when you choose to withdraw from the program completely. Should you wish to postpone, ECI will hold on to your credits and shift you into the next class.

Upon registration, the staff will bring to your attention the terms and conditions and gladly work with you to clarify any questions or concerns you might have.

We do not issue out refunds after completion of the program/coaching service. However since the first program in 2003, we have not received such requests.


Q: If you are really trying to help people, why should you be charging so much?

A: Executive Coach International Pte Ltd is in the business of human evolution. We offer professional coaching services. We are not a charity. In order for the clients to benefit the most, an exchange must occur as a stake and commitment for real change and results. Our programs are highly effective, and our consistent results are a testament to your possible ROI (return of investment). Most of the time, clients feedback that new opportunities and changes/results cover the initial cost of their program.

The course fees are calculated to cover the professional services of the trainers and personal coaches involved, training technology and materials and other logistical costs.


Q: Must I share and disclose my personal stories and issues to the class to benefit from the program?

A: No, you do not need to. You can still benefit from the program, as long as you are constantly inquiring and reflecting on the conversations that are being discussed.

All the participants, coaches and assistants are made to sign a Privacy & Confidentiality agreement before getting involved in the program. This is ensure a deliberate safe space for the participants.

However, participants are encouraged to be honest and fully disclose their information to their personal coach, so that the coach can assist him/her to their truest ability.

Typically mid-way through the program, the natural phenomenon is the course mates start sharing once they feel comfortable, and this contributes to the overall depth and range of the program.


Q: Is there a maximum or minimum age?

A: Our programs do not cater to youths below 15.

We work with anybody from all walks of life, ranging from 15 – 70+ as long as their personally chose their participation in the program.


Q: What support or follow-ups do you have after the program?

A: Some programs have packaged follow-up program that you move on into. This ensures that you go through the integration process and learn effective application.

ECI is a community of people who are interested in personal development and evolution. Whether you take a program or not, you are welcomed to join us in our events, activities and trainings that we hold.

Additionally, you can engage our professional coaches to continue work and support to specific areas that you’d like breakthroughs in.


Q: What’s the best way to understand or experience a program before I decide to join it?

A: There are several steps you can take…

1) Attend a preview
2) Call the office and speak to or meet up with a staff member/ coach
3) Join us at our open events including parties, networking sessions etc.

The above ways will allow you more interaction with the people here who are open, honest and willing to share their experiences and wisdom with you.
