"In the words of the famous little heap of green wrinkles: Do or do not. There is no try."
After only 3 years' full-time experience during which she led a design team in a corporate firm, Vicki set up her own boutique graphic design company at 26. Within 2 years, her business grew tremendously, generating enough projects for a comfortable 5-figure monthly income, and winging projects from the US and Australia, and local entities such as Samsung Singapore, Microsoft Singapore, ITE and PUB. She graduated from the prestigious National School of Design, Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia.
Her tenacity, will-power and firm integrity in the quality of her work and service causes things to happen around her. Her charm and ease around people causes projects and clients fall into her lap without much effort. As a coach, this translates into her no-nonsense focus in edging the client on to getting their results while ensuring the client loves what they do and thus projects an air around it.
Vicki is not all work and no play – she loves beach-bumming, beer-tasting and pigging out on culinary delights, and is always fun to be with.
Vicki is the whiz behind ECI's www.liveyourmark.org website.
“What interested you in coaching?"
Pre-TCC, I had always been an angry child due to the environment I grew up in. Emotionally distant and no one ever really talked to each other. After I got dumped by my very first boyfriend after 4 years, the anger became uncontrollable and consumed me. I woke up each morning with nothing to look forward to and threw myself into my work. I could not find any peace or happiness. One day I asked Julia, who was in my business networking group representing coaching, if coaching could help my situation. I took TCC and found the peace that I had been longing for.
I started coaching others as a way of gratitude towards Julia, Kelvin and the other coaches at ECI, for their commitment to me when I was a coachee, even till now. I also wanted to push my boundaries and temper my impatience, and I have been able to achieve results in that."
